The litters listed in this section of the Cockerspaniel Online Magazine are listed by breeders who have agreed to the following code of ethics. However, the magazine cannot assume any responsibility for any transactions made as a result of any litter announcements in this section. If a potential buyer does not know the breeder, it is strongly recommended the potential buyer request references from the breeder.

CODE OF ETHICS

  1. All litters to be placed in "pet" homes will be done on a spay/neuter contract.
  2. All puppies will be guaranteed, at minimum, by the breeder as follows:
    • 2 years against cataracts.
    • 2 years against hip dysplasia.
    • 1 year against all other genetic problems.
  3. Breeder will provide buyer with a written contract specifying all agreements by breeder.

  4. Breeder agrees to provide "puppy shots" as recommended by their veterinarian, or required by law.
  5. Breeder agrees to not place puppies prior to a minimum of 8 weeks of age, 10 weeks preferred.
