PEDIGREE

 A heartfelt thanks is extended to Kirby's breeder, Ronnie DeClerck, Beaujolais' Cockers, for allowing 
 me to have Kirby!


 Kirby's sire is the handsome CH SILVER PINE CALIFORNIA DREAM (PICTURE), son of the great
 Ch Doggone Newsflash.  His dam is the lovely CH BEAUJOLAIS' BUST MY BUSTLE (PICTURE),
 daughter of equally great Ch Palm Hill's Krugerand.

 Since this litter was born during the 1991 World Series, in which the Minnesota Twins went on to become
 World Champions, "Kirby" was appropriately named after our hometown hero, Kirby Puckett.  The headlines 
 read "Minnesota Magic!", thus the name seemed to fit!

 Kirby earned multiple sweepstake wins including a Best in Sweeps, and was major pointed from the Puppy
 Class, handled by Jeff Wright.  At the '92 Summer National in New Orleans, I met two very special 
 people - Sonia Santiago (owner of Ch. Silver Pine California Dream, Kirby's sire), and the very talented 
 Flavio Werneck, from Brazil.  It was there that we agreed to enter into a co-ownership with Kirby and 
 from that partnership an everlasting friendship ensued.

 Flavio guided Kirby to WD, BW, and 2nd Best In Variety wins at ASC, his International Championship, 18
 Best in Show, 1993 World Champion, #1 Dog All Breeds in Brazil in 1993, as well as multiple Group
 placements in the United States.

 Kirby was also awarded 4 Awards of Merit at ASC handled by Flavio, Carey Wagner, and Julie Virosteck.
 Thanks, Julie, for handling our boy to Best ASCOB Veteran, Best ASCOB Stud Dog, and First Award of Merit
 (from the Veteran's Class) behind his "kids" at ASC in Cincinnati this past July - we were thrilled!!

 We were also thrilled with the performance of Kirby's son, CH COLEMAN'S GENTLEMAN JACK (PICTURE),
 winning the ASCOB Variety as well as his daughter, CH COLEMAN'S  RAINY NITE N' GEORGIA (PICTURE),
 going BOS to BV and on to BOS to Best  Of Breed!!!!!  These littermates were both owner handled by Annette
 Lurton and Betty Ann Campbell.
 
 Thank you ladies for a job WELL DONE!

 Many THANKS to the breeders who have sent their lovely bitches to pay him a visit.  We are proud of
 his Champion get and their accomplishments in the US, Canada, and South America.
