Specialty vs All-Breed Shows


There are two types of conformation dog shows:

Specialty and All-Breed

Specialty shows are limited to dogs of a specific breed or grouping of breeds
Example: The American Spaniel Club Specialty is for Spaniels, including Clumber Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, English Cockers,
English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Irish Water Spaniels, and Welsh Springer Spaniels.

All-Breed shows are open to over 130 breeds recognized by the AKC.
